MBoard (3D hover board)

MBoard (5.7mb ver1.504 updated 10/12/2003, made by Power Winds, no install .lzh) is a very nice Japanese 3D hover board freeware game. There's 3 modes of play, the main game, time trial and practice with game replay feature and save points on each level. It takes a bit to get used to the controls of this game but once you've mastered it, there's heaps of fun to be had.


This is a typical Japanese style of game with cute character, catchy music and Japanese voice and game sound effects, nice one. Boost, jump and bounce your way to the finish line while collecting gold rings and bows. If you need some tips, just let the game demo run.


This game should play on most Windows systems.

Arrow keys - Movement
Z key - Boost
C key - Jump
X key - Pause game with Menu screen
Alt key - Pause game
S key - Pause game in 1st person view, use arrow keys to view area
A key - Look behind
Esc key - Exit game

I remember this, good game that you've dug up Gamer. I had to play it again but how do you do the special somersault jumps? I can see it being used in the game demo mode.

I don't know, I couldn't work that move out either Smart Asp. I tried double key press variations, in fact I tried all keys on the keyboard for that particular move. The only thing I didn't try was holding a key/s down.
