Panel Death (23.8mb ver1.0 made 21/03/2013, no install .zip) is a very good Japanese arcade freeware game that's simple in it's gameplay but tricky to master, not so much the actual game but becoming greedy in collecting gems. You must stay within the red square panels that change shape and rotate as well as moving across the screen slowly. There are also blue square panels that only move across the screen in the direction of the arrow within them. Collect as many gems as you can without being greedy and getting caught out at the edge of the screen or outside the borders of any panels. You move between panels when they overlap each other to get to other parts of the screen and also within the blue squares that will take you across the screen quicker. If you last long enough the appearing gems get bigger and are worth more but watch out for Death! Nice visuals, music and sound effects which suit the game. Well worth a download and a play if you like a different type of arcade game. How long can you last?
This game should play on most Windows systems with a basic 3D graphics card. It may take a while for the game to start so be patient. You can change the frame rate in the KeyConfig file.
