Magical Signa (14.5mb, ver1.00a made 11/10/2013 by Ponpoko general store, Mr. Dodo, no install .lzh) is a difficult Japanese side scrolling shooter. This one goes in to the "Too Hard Basket". This 2D game is unforgiving in every sense of the word. Having said this, graphics are good with the typical Japanese speech, game style and enjoyable music and sound effects. This is a 3 button SHMUP that will definitely test your patience, which is one thing I lack.
This game could've been so much better if the difficulty was set lower. 3 hits from enemies and it's game over, no continues. Maybe I just wasn't in SHMUP mode tonight.
This freeware game should work on most Windows systems. There are some problems running the configuration program in 64bit environment. If you are having problems with the game config file, download the very first link at the top of the page and replace it with the game config file in the original game folder. The game config file didn't work for me, I didn't download the update but I tried the other game config Static file that came with the game and it worked fine.
